Dmg Image Not Recognized

DiskImageMounter is the app that.dmg files are associated with, so that's not it. Any other ideas? UPDATE: Turns out that Microsoft had a known issue with the.dmg file that was on their servers. They appear to have fixed it. They sent me an email that it was fixed and I downloaded it again and got a good image this time. If not, maybe your ISO/USB is written to support UEFI computers only? To try that, download Rufus and select your ISO image to write to USB without touching any setting. Rufus will automatically set the setting on top - if it says 'GPT for UEFI.' Then the downloaded image is UEFI and may/will not boot on your computer. Abrir aquivo dmg. Once you double click the DMG file it will open as a read only drive and appear under devices, if you then click on the read only drive it has opened as there will either be a .pkg file you can double click which loads an installer menu.

If however it is just a single icon or program on it's own, then you need to drag (or copy and paste) it into the applications folder on the computer.

Once it has finished copying, you can then eject the mounted read only drive image.

Hi,
I just bought and downloaded Quicken for Mac.
But when I click the .dmg I get an error message reading 'image not recognized.'
Any suggestions?
